Managing a Bambu Lab Fleet?

You’re in the Right Place.

Bambu Lab builds exceptional hardware, but its software was built for individual users. Bambu Studio handles slicing and Bambu Farm Manager covers basic local queuing. Neither offers SSO, user billing, compliance certifications, multi-vendor support or browser-based remote access.

3DPrinterOS adds that layer. Run on our secure Azure cloud or on your own servers for full data sovereignty.

What 3DPrinterOS Adds

Enterprise Fleet Management That Scales With the Hardware

Everything an organization needs on top of what Bambu Lab provides, whether you run 5 printers or 500.

SSO and Institutional Auth

Authenticate via SAML, Shibboleth, OKTA or InCommon. Every print job is tied to a verified user. No shared logins, no manual account management.

Browser Access, Any Device

Submit jobs, manage queues and monitor printers from any browser. Students in dorms, teachers at home, admins across campuses. No LAN restriction.

Cloud Slicing

Users upload STL files and 3DPrinterOS slices for the target Bambu Lab model. No Bambu Studio installation needed for end users.

User Billing and Quotas

Per-user print limits, filament tracking by user and chargeback reports by department keep costs under control as the fleet grows.

Approval Workflows and Audit Trail

Review jobs before they reach the printer. Every job is logged by user, file, printer, material, time and outcome, exportable for HECVAT or TX-RAMP.

Multi-Vendor Fleet

Bambu Lab printers alongside Prusa, Ultimaker, Stratasys, Creality and Formlabs. One dashboard, one set of reports.

Bambu Tools vs 3DPrinterOS

Keep Bambu Studio. Add the Management Layer.

3DPrinterOS does not replace Bambu Studio. It sits on top of it, adding the controls organizations need.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bambu Lab Fleet Management FAQ

Which Bambu Lab printers does 3DPrinterOS support?
All current Bambu Lab models: X2D, X1 Carbon, X1E, H2D, H2D Pro, H2S, H2C, P2S, P1S, P1P, A1 and A1 Mini, plus 200+ printer models from other brands. See the full compatibility table.
Can I keep using Bambu Studio?
Yes. 3DPrinterOS sits on top of Bambu Studio rather than replacing it. Slice in Bambu Studio or Orca Slicer and upload the G-code, or let users upload STL files and use the built-in cloud slicer. You can mix both approaches in the same fleet.
How is 3DPrinterOS different from Bambu Farm Manager?
Bambu Farm Manager covers basic local queuing. 3DPrinterOS adds SSO, user billing and quotas, approval workflows, audit logs, browser access from any device, multi-brand fleet support and cloud or on-prem deployment. The two cannot run on the same printer at the same time, so choose one platform per printer.
How long does setup take?
Under 30 minutes for your first printer and about 2 minutes for each additional one. Follow the setup guide.
Can I deploy on my own servers?
Yes. Run your fleet on the secure 3DPrinterOS Azure cloud or deploy on-prem for full data sovereignty. Either way, your design files stay where you decide.
